Algemene Voorwaarden
1. General
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all services, products, tenders, contracts, and/or activities of Jeny’s Pole Dance Studio, hereinafter also called Jeny’s Studio.
1.2 By registering for, subscribing, and/or paying for a single lesson, a multiple session package, subscription, course or workshop, the customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
1.3 Jeny’s Studio reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Each amended version replaces the previous one. One can consult the most recent Terms and Conditions on the website.
1.4 A customer’s failure to comply in full with these Terms & Conditions may result in Jeny’s Studio refusing to provide services to the customer.
2. House Rules
2.1 We advise you to come decently dressed. Lingerie and underwear as sports outfit is not allowed, nor is see-through clothing. Shoes must be clean, leave no marks on the floor and cannot be worn outside.
2.2 It is not allowed to consume alcoholic beverages before or during classes, workshops and other activities.
2.3 For your safety, the use of chewing gum or candy are not allowed during the lessons, workshops and other activities.
2.4 Jeny’s Studio is a completely smoke-free environment and smoking is not allowed.
2.5 For your safety, you must remove before each lesson and/or activity all jewelry, including rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings.
2.6 For reasons of hygiene, you are required to bring a towel to class. If you do not have towel with you, you are obliged to rent or buy one at the counter.
3. Liability
3.1 Jeny’s Studio is not liable for damage, loss or theft of personal property. Victims are themselves responsible for reporting occurrences to the police.
3.2 Entering the venue and participating in classes or activities of Jeny’s Studio, is entirely at the risk of the customer and visitor.
3.3 Jeny’s Studio is not liable for injuries or damages caused during or resulting from participating in classes, workshops or other activities organised by Jeny’s studio.
3.4 Participants and visitors who have caused damage to any type of property of Jeny’s Studio, the owner of the location and/or third parties, are responsible for full reparation. If the damage is caused by several persons, then each is liable for the whole.
4. Enrollment and fees
4.1 Registration for the courses is only possible by means of completing a registration form.
4.2 Single classes, multiple session packages and subscriptions are personal and can only be used by the customer.
4.3 The customer may attend classes on the basis of a single lesson, a multiple session package, or a subscription. The multiple session package consists of 10 sessions, which must be taken during a period of 3 consecutive months. The customer is obliged to pay the single lessons and multiple session package fees in full.
4.4 When registering for a subscription, the customer signs up for a 3, 6 or 12 month period. Payment must be made before the start of the first lesson, unless Jeny’s Studio has agreed in writing to different terms. Registration may be done in writing or electronically via email or the website.
4.5 The recurring subscription fee has to be paid in advance. The customer is required to authorize and pay the subscription fee by preauthorized debit.
4.6 All subscriptions will have the 1st day of the month as initial date. The subscription fee will be charged proportionally when the customer enrolls after the first of the month. When a customer registers after the 1st day of the month, the subscription fee will be charged proportionately and the amount of days until the 1st of the month will be added to the initial duration of the contract. The first payment will be made by iDeal or PayPal and the following payments will be made by preauthorized debit.
4.7 The minimum contract period of a subscription is 3 months. The initial contract period cannot be terminated. The customer is obliged to pay the subscription fees during the initial contract period.
4.8 All subscriptions (3, 6 or 12 months) will be automatically extended for an unspecified period after the initial contract period. The customer can terminate or alter their subscription after the expiration date with a term of one month’s notice by email at info@jenyspoledancestudio.nl. During the term of notice the customer can still register for classes at Jeny’s Studio.
4.9 Jeny’s Studio is authorised to deny access to the facility and exclude from participation in further lessons any customer who fails to pay in full the fee or other amounts due Jeny’s Studio.
4.10 All subscriptions can be upgraded during the contract period for a minimum period of 2 months. Downgrading is only possible to the original membership and it is possible after the 2 months period as described above. Upgrading or downgrading a subscription will not alter the expiration date of the contract. Upgrading or downgrading a subscription can be done by sending an email at info@jenyspoledancestudio.nl
5. Lessons
5.1 Jeny’s Studio is authorised, in its sole discretion, to remove individuals from lessons and courses for misconduct. Jeny’s Studio also has the right to permanently deny access to individuals who have been removed from a class for misconduct. In this case there is no entitlement to full or partial refund of the fee.
5.2 Jeny’s Studio may cancel a lesson or course whenever there are reasonable grounds. This may include, among others, lack of students, long-term illness or other force majeure situations. The customer is entitled to a refund of the full tuition in case of cancellation before the start of the course, If cancellation takes place during the course then the refund will be in proportion to the number of classes not yet taken.
5.3 Jeny’s Studio is, in special circumstances, also authorized to make changes in the class schedule for courses in progress.
5.4 Jeny’s Studio reserves the right to limit the number of participants per class, and to change the timetable, hours and fees.
5.5 The client can reserve a lesson after a single lesson, a multiple session package or subscription has been purchased. The lessons must be reserved by using the class schedule on the website.
5.6 The client can make a reservation for a class until 5 minutes before the start of the class.
5.7 A 6-hour cancellation policy applies to all classes. Clients that cancel 6 or more hours before the start of the class can choose another moment to use their class credit. When a student cancels less than 6 hours before the start of the class, the fee for the class cannot be refunded and the class will be seen as a participated class.
5.8 Jeny’s Studio has the right to refuse the client access to the class when they arrive more than 10 minutes after the start of the class.
6. Holidays and absences
6.1 Jeny’s studio is closed on national holidays, and also reserves the right to use a reduced schedule during vacation periods without that this will lead to a reduction in subscription fees or restitution.
6.2 If the customer, for whatever reason, can no longer take a course, there is no right to (partial) restitution of the fee. With timely notice it may be possible to make up for classes missed due to illness or other serious situations. However, depending on the circumstances, Jeny’s Studio may, in its sole discretion, decide on a total or partial refund.
6.3 The customer has the right to suspend a 12-months subscription for a certain period because of vacation. This may only be for a continuous period not exceeding one month. A request for this must be submitted at least two weeks in advance by email at info@jenyspoledancestudio.nl.
7. Personal data and privacy
7.1 Entry forms must be completed fully and truthfully.
7.2 Jeny’s Studio collects personally information from its customers for administrative purposes only and will treat it confidentially.
7.3 Jeny’s Studio also uses personal information to inform customers of the Studio’s activities. If this is not desired, the customer can opt out by sending an email to that effect to info@jenyspoledancestudio.com.
7.4 Jeny’s Studio is permitted to make photographic and other types of images of students, groups and visitors, for editorial or promotional purposes. If the customer, as participant objects to this, then he/she can make this known to the instructor and/or email Jeny’s Studio for the removal of the images.
8. Other conditions
8.1 It is not permitted to bring visitors to a class or other activity without the permission of Jeny’s Studio.
8.2 Visitors and participants must abide during their stay on the location to the house rules of Jeny’s Studio and those of the location. Visitors and participants must follow the instructions given by authorized persons. If one does not comply, then one can be removed from the class and/or location.
8.3 Jeny’s Studio has the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse any person access to the facility, amd/or exclude any person from participation in any of the Studio’s activities.
8.4 The use of visual or sound recordings (in the broadest sense of the word, including photo, film, video, tape, etc.) is permitted only with permission of Jeny’s Studio. This consent may be revoked at any time without providing reasons.
8.5 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, teaching and other activities is intended solely for personal use by the students.
8.6 Images, photos, pictures, etc., made in the studio, or received from the studio, or which are shown on the website or social media pages of the studio, are intended solely for personal use and may not be used for commercial purposes, unless specifically approved in writing by Jeny’s Studio.
