Iris Hagemans has rolled into the dance world because of her interest in music from the 20s to 50s. When she moved to Amsterdam in 2005, she threw herself into Rock & Roll and Lindy Hop.
After a few years of dance addiction, she looked for a sport to build more strength. It was immediately clear that it should have something to do with dancing. Iris actually hated push-ups. Only the enchanting, gravity-ignoring elegance of pole dancing was motivating enough to make extra effort. It was a matter of love at first fireman. Now, almost eight years later, Iris hopes to share her love for pole dancing by teaching. She likes to find new figure combinations to try in class, but the look on the face of beginners after their first fireman remains the best: Welcome to the world of pole addiction!
